New Version of TeamWox Server Build 969

What's new:

1. Server: Added settings of processing HTTP requests from trusted proxy servers, which enhances the implementation of security policy of companies that use TeamWox collaboration software.
   
   If access to the TeamWox Groupwareserver directly from the Internet is impossible for some technical or security reasons, HTTP from users are received at the proxy server (for example, nginx), which forwards them to the TeamWox Groupware server. In the HTTP requests that are redirected to the collaboration software from a proxy server, the clients real IP addresses are contained in the HTTP header X-Forwarded-For.
   
   On page "Administration->Security", added possibility to configure the list of IPs of trusted proxy servers, for requests from which values contained in HTTP header X-Forwarded-For will be used as a client's real IP. In this case, in the system journal and in the chat window, clients' real IP will be displayed, not the IP of the proxy server.
   

   

2. Server: Added the experimental function of auto scaling of images to the screen width, which improves the usability of the business management software on mobile devices (platforms).
   

   
   
   

3. Server, All Modules: Extended possibilities of the TeamWox collaboration software on mobile devices (platforms). Implemented the experimental support of displaying of reports on devices like iPhone, iPad, devices with Opera Mobile.
   
   All business reports are re-written using the new JavaScript reports component. The reports component determines whether Adobe Flash is installed in the browser. Reports are displayed on the page using the Flash plug-in of the browser. If Flash is not installed or unavailable like in mobile Safari (iPhone, iPad), reports are displayed using SVG.
   

   

   
   
4. Task Manager: To prevent accidental loss of information in case of conflicts during joint work with tasks, added the functions of controlling tasks changes.
   
   When editing a Collaboration task and then saving it, the groupware system checks whether the task or its attachments has been changed by any other user during this time. If it has been changed, a warning with the name of the appropriate user is shown.
   

   

   
   
5. Documents: Extended support of the TeamWox groupware system running on mobile devices and computers for countries with left-to-right text direction.
   
   The module interface was modified using the library of JavaScript components of the online business management system.

   
   
   
   
   

6. Documents: Extended the functions of notifications about changes in documents.
   
   When a comment is added to the history and discussions of a document, a notification about document changes appears for the author of a document and users assigned for signing or reading. Previously, such a notification appeared only when the document itself was changed.
   
   
7. Documents new: Implemented the feature of automatic text recognition of scanned documents after they are uploaded to the Documents. With this new feature, you can use automatic recognition of scanned documents or faxes without having to buy the appropriate software and install it on each user's computer.
   
   Recognition of documents is implemented using ABBYY Recognition Server 3.0. On the TeamWox groupware server, implemented integration with the ABBYY recognition server. We provide the possibility to test this function without installation of the recognition server, to all users of the TeamWox collaboration software, including those who use the free version. Each client can use the free recognition of up to 20 documents without installing the recognition server.
   
   Before you start using the recognition server, configure access to it on page "Administration->Settings".
   

   

   Then select a folder for all scanned documents or faxes. In the folder properties editing dialog, on the Recognition tab, do the following:
   

   • enable the option "Automatically recognize all images when uploading to this folder";
   • select the format of files, into which all added images will be recognized - MS Word 97/2003, MS Word 2010, RTF, etc.
     

     
     
     All JPG/JPEG, PNG, TIF/TIFF or PDF files added to this folder will be automatically recognized into the same folder.
     

8. eMail Client: To expand analytical functions of the online groupware system, added a report of ratio of answered and unanswered emails in a selected mailbox.
   
   The new busniness report will enable you to assess how many emails for a selected period of time were not answered by users who are responsible for working with emails in the group mailbox.
   

   

   
   
9. eMail Client: To expand analytical functions of TeamWox Groupware, added a report of the number of emails written by users in response to clients emails.
   
   The new business  report will help you assess who of employees most actively responded to clients emails for a selected period.
   

   

   
   
10. eMail Client: To expand analytical functions of the TeamWox collaboration system, added a report of the average time of response to clients emails.
    
    The new business report will help you assess who of employees most quickly responded to clients emails for a selected period.
    

    

    
    
11. Message Board (Forum): To expand analytical functions of the business system, added a report showing the increase in the number of the board topics.
    
    The new business report will enable you to assess the dynamics of new topic creation for a selected period.
    

    

    
    
    
12. Message Board (Forum): To expand analytical functions of TeamWox Groupware, added a report showing the number of the board topics written by each user.
    
    The new business report will help you see the most active employees, who most often create discussion topics in the selected category of the message board (corporate forum).
    

    

    
    
13. Service Desk (Helpdesk): To increase usability, and to improve the search of requests, implemented a possibility to specify a category or product as a filtering parameter.
    
    Filtering by these fields is possible only when viewing a service group. This is impossible in the Assigned section. This is due to the fact that Assigned can contain requests created in groups, to which the user does not have access (therefore, no access to categories and products).
    

    

    
    
14. Accounting: To the business report of receipts/expenditures distribution by months and years, added a new report of monthly comparison of increase of receipts/expenditure to that of previous years.
    
    The new business reports allow you to estimate how dynamics of increase/decrease of receipts/expenditures change.
    
    
15. eBank new: Added the plug-in of integration with the client-bank system of Bank Avangard.
    
    
16. eBank: Expanded the possibilities of plug-ins of the module for working with banking systems. Support of operation of plug-ins via proxy servers is implemented in them.
    
    
17. SDK: Updated source codes of the Board module, included into the standard delivery set of the TeamWox Groupware server. In the new version, the user interface of this module is implemented using the library of JavaScript components of the business management software.
    
    
18. SDK new: The TeamWox Groupware SDK now contains the full source code of the eBank module plug-in for integration with the PayPal payment system. The source code of the plug-in is an example of implementing integration of the TeamWox Groupware server with payment systems.
    
    
19. Fixed errors reported on official forum and via Service Desk (bugtracking system).

The live update Build 969 will be available through the LiveUpdate TeamWox business management software.
