Add/Edit OrganizationTo add a new organization to the TeamWox system, you should press the "New organization" button located in the upper part of the "Organizations" tab. The window of adding information about organizations will appear, as soon as you press this button. The window of editing organization's information is the same as the one of adding. You can edit details of an organization in the "Edit" tab that is always present on the left side when you view an organization. The information in the window of adding/editing an organization is divided into the following blocks. Each block except the main information can be hidden using the Main Information
Main information about the organization can be specified here:
Values of various fields can be specified in two ways: by choosing the necessary one from a pop-up list that appears if you press on a field with the left button of your mouse, or by entering a new one using your keyboard. For example, the new status/rating will be stored and further available in the list, if you press the "Create"/"Update" button located at the bottom of the window of creating/editing the organization after you have entered it.
You can also delete the unnecessary entries from pop-up lists. To do it, you should open a list and press the Postal Address
In this box you can specify the following information: Country, State, City, Zip/Postal Code, Time (you can choose the time zone from the list that opens, if you click with your mouse on the "Time" field), address. Registered Address
Additional Information
Here you can specify bank details of the the organization. The "Bank autolink" field is used for binding transactions in the "eBank module" to organizations. Permission
Here you can specify the access right to view the organization's details — the "Manager" and "Assigned" field. To perform this operation, you should press with your mouse on the corresponding field. If you do it, the window of assigning users will appear. The instructions of how to assign organizations to users are given in the "List of Assigned" section.
Assigned by TemplateYou can automate assigning users the permission to view an organization for each specific manager. To do so, you should select the first organization in the list, assigned for this manager (you should use filter "All" and sorting by name). Then you should create a list of assigned users and save your changes. In future, you can use this pair, Organization+Manager, as a template. To assign the same users for another organization of the same manager, press "Assigned by template". This will result in automated filling out the list of assigned users. Assigned for All OrganizationsThe "Assigned for all organization" button is also aimed at automating the process of assigning users. The difference consists in that this function affects all organizations at a time. In other words, if you, being in the organization adding/editing mode, assign a manager and create a list of assigned users, you can set this list of assigned users for all organizations of this specific manager by pressing the above button. To save an organization in TeamWox, you should press the "Save" button located under the information boxes described above. If you open the menu of the "Save" button, you'll be able to go to the list of organizations or to the next organization after saving the current one. |
