New Version of TeamWox Server Build 1337

What's new:

  1. Server: To increase the flexibility of configuration, implemented an opportunity to change the start time for the backup of TeamWox Groupware data.

    On page "Administration->Backup", the system administrator can specify the hour during which the daily backup will be made.

    We recommend selecting the time, when stopping the server for making a backup copy wouldn't affect the work of TeamWox Groupware users. The default backup time is set for 2:00 a.m. local time, which is the optimum time for most of companies.

  2. Server: To improve the ease of TeamWox Groupware server administration from mobile devices and PCs in countries with right-to-left text direction, the following pages of the "Administration" module have been redesigned:
    • Users/ Security
    • Users/ Permissions
    • Users/ Groups
    • Groups/ Permissions
    • Groups/ Users
    • Sounds
    • Journal
    • Statistics

    The pages have been redesigned using the TeamWox Groupware library of JavaScript controls and optimized for working from a Web browser of mobile devices (mobile platform).

  3. Server: Expanded the list of mobile devices for which the optimized TeamWox Groupware user interface is available.

    Improved support of the mobile web browser for the devices with Windows Phone 7.

  4. TeamWox Communicator: Development of the voice calls support in TeamWox Communicator is being tested now.

    Our company's internal phone system is implemented via TeamWox Communicator. Calls between employees are made only using the communicator.

    After completing the testing phase, TeamWox Communicator with a beta version of phone functions will be available to all our customers.

    The next step will be to implement SIP telephony, which allows connecting TeamWox to telephone service providers or existing systems of IP telephony. This will help you to quickly deploy the full-featured IP telephony in your company based on the TeamWox business management software.

  5. Translations: Updated user interface of the online collaboration software in Bulgarian, Spanish, Chinese, German, Polish and Ukrainian.

  6. Fixed errors reported on official forum, via Service Desk (bugtracking system) and in crash logs.

The live update Build 1337 will be available through the LiveUpdate TeamWox business management system.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools in TeamWox Groupware

TeamWox, as a system of enterprise management, has a lot in common with CRM-systems, though its range of function is much wider. Thanks to installation of TeamWox, similar positive results are reached: increase of sales, optimization of marketing and improvement of client-oriented service. Even though TeamWox shouldn’t be reduced to customer relationship and contact management systems, this article will be devoted to CRM tools. Let’s have a closer look at them.
